Do you get those receipes from the supermarket that try to get you to disguise healthy food to fool your kids into eating it? You know what I mean, pizzas made into faces and so on. Lets face it, you can't hide broccoli!
My Mum used to make volcano's - a mountain of mashed potato ( remember close encounters of the third kind?) hollow out the middle and fill it with oxtail soup. It was great making the lava flow...my and my grown kids still like to do it now but hubby tells me not to play with my food, spoilsport.

yeah jan husbands sometimes forget how to enjoy the finer things in life, don't they; like eating your dessert first. LOL

This reminds me when I worked in a nursing home. Many of the residents had to be fed and we would feed them dessert first because the sweet would stimulate their appitite and they would eat better the main course. See there is a reason for eating dessert first.:bg:
