let's see..... Monday we shopped for school clothes all day....Tuesday we shopped for school supplies....Wednesday, took the dog to the vet to be spayed...... Thursday took DD to the orthodontist.... Friday went back for more school clothes shopping AND picked up the dog at the vet's office THEN helped hubby work on a new deck for the pool. Today I went grocery shopping and spent the rest of the day helping hubby again. Now I'm waiting for the next load of laundry to dry. I think I forgot to eat supper. I start back to work next week. Maybe I'll get some rest then. |

I agree, Lori, summer is exhausting! On Thursday afternoon my son had baseball and then we spent two hours at the library for the final party for the summer reading program. My daughter wanted to go to K-Mart that night; I said "No, the night is mine!!" I have two quilts to machine quilt this week; I don't know when they'll get done. |

It IS exhausting. Things will be better once the kids get back into school and a routine. Our summer is half over, the kids are bored now and it seems like it rains every darn weekend. It brightens up and gets warm just in time to go back to work on Monday.

After raising nine children, my mother went back to work fulltime. She loves to tell us that she couldn't wait to get to work because at least there she got two 15 min breaks and a lunch hour! |
