September is national sewing month for everyone. It's time to share a little of your knowledge and inspire someone else to sew.

Girls and guys, don't hesitate to encourage someone to try their hand at sewing.

Yes teach them to sew ... Then they wont be beating down your door the night before Halloween saying can you make this????

Isn't it great they called the month before the most busy sewing month national sewing month. All the retailers in our area talk of how first timers buy thier machine a week before halloween and do not know how to use it and come to the sewing stores during the busiest time for sales wanting right here right now instruction.

If we all take one person this month and teach them to use thier machines and read patterns basicly, we can help our selves get out of the stores quicker next month when we have to have the most original costume like the kid down the street.
The more you disaprove, the more fun I am having!

Yes, Hallowe'en always brings those old machines out of the closet. More patterns are sold now than even at Christmas.

My son's girlfriend has my old machine. She is learning.
