I had a Big Shirt in a black crepe with red oriental bamboo flowers. I loved the fabric and hated the shape so I never wore it. Suddenly I thought, if I don't wear it anyway - whats to lose? I have cut and shaped the hem into a curve 3" higher, added front and back darts and cut the cuffs off. I now have a really nice modern, fitted, 3/4 sleeve wearable shirt in my oriental fabric! I'm so proud I could stuff myself! I never altered anything before!
