When you cut out border printed fabric do you line the pattern pieces up with the border instead of using the grain line?

I made a coat out of border printed fleece and I used the border as a guide because I wanted it to run along the bottom of the coat and sleeves. Was this the right thing to do?

Yes you did. that is how you do it. If it was fleece I have found out it does stretch longer. I have not found a trick for this but I am working on it and should have it for the next season. It is like it grows as you wear it.
The more you disaprove, the more fun I am having!
