Hi there. I want to make something for a baby shower but any ideas what to make or what is a good pattern? I am looking for something that is easy and a greenhorn as I can sew. Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks Miranda |

If you plan to sew baby items more than just once I suggest this book. http://www.kwiksew.com/Cold_Fusion/catalog/BookFrameset.cfm I have made at least one of about everything in this book. The instructions are easy to follow even for a beginner. Gina Gina

I make a lined jacket sometimes, it is a Burda pattern. I'll look up the pattern later and post the number. You can line it in a nice flannel. It is quite easy to make. I also make polar fleece bunting bags. They're not very hard either. |

My neice is having her 3rd in March and I am planning on spoiling the little bugger. I bought some flannel off the remnant rack at Walmart and am going to make it into burp cloths, going to make a bedding set, and whatever else I can think of. There is a pattern right here at SWN for really easy crib sheets that anyone could do. Receiving blnakets are easy...just blanket stitches, or make a polar fleece blankie in same way. Just stop and think a minute and you will come up with something. Just take your time and you can do anything! Corinne |

These pillows are "sew" easy. I can't believe that I didn't think to tell you about these first. I use the TLC Breastfeeding Pillow Pattern which I got from Elizabeth Lee Designs. http://www.elizabethlee.com/patterns/speclty.htm Gina Gina

I am having serious problems with links. It looks like ELD no longer carries this pattern. Gina Gina
