My daughter is in need of a raincoat, now. (We have waited so long for rain)! There are some nice lighter-weight vinyls I've seen and I'm wondering how to pick a pattern, lining, special needles, what kind of thread, etc. I'd be interested in hearing about anyone's experience with vinyl, pro or con. What would you have done differently the second go-around? Also, how do you flatten vinyl so it doesn't stick out? Do you use a blocker or wooden mallet. Or can this be ironed? I'm excited about learning how to manage vinyl. We will need lots of it up here in the Northwest now. Eileen |
