first of all, hubby turned 40 last week. Everyone has been kidding him about getting old. We went to WalMart the other night and my daughter and I walked in one direction, and hubby and ds in the other. When we met back up with them later, hubby was laughing. When he was standing in the electronics department, two teen-aged boys walked up to him and said, "Our mom wants to know if you're married?" He said "yes, I am" and they walked away. He never saw "mom". She must have been watching from a distance. I just wish I had been close enough to see the look on his face. |

Must have been a weekend for hubbies to have their ego's stroked. My DH and I met afterwork and went to a concert at a nearby Reservation/Casino with an Outlet center. We arrived early so we decided to do some shopping. Hubby found shorts at Eddie bauer that he loved and were dirt cheap. He was elated as he fit in a size medium...they had to be mismarked. Then we went to the concert and had to show ID to get a wrist band in order to buy drinks. He was thrilled that a 44 year old with gray hair fit into medium size shorts and was carded all in one day. I think it made his week! Lori |

Must have been the full moon. My hubby and I were in Niagara Falls last week and he went up to buy tickets for a steam boat ride and the ticker taker asked him if he was 55 yet - he'll be 64 this Dec so he was very flattered that she wasn't sure he was even 55 which got him the senior rate....so flattered that he forgot to mention that I'm 56 now and could have gotten the discount too and he ended up with one adult ticket and one senior. We had a good laugh over that.
I've decided to live forever - so far, so good.

Tony just loves it when people tell him is too young to have teenage kids.. I was clipping his hair the last week with the clippers thinking, " remember that woman who chopped lumps off her kids hair by forgetting to put the spacers on" Well the last thing I forgot to do was put the spacer in and I raked a runway up his head before I realised. It was bad, we had to trim the whole head right back to a very short cut in an attempt to disguise the curiously regular bald patch. Then he had to shave his beard to match or he would have looked like his head was on upside down. And he had 2 important interviews that week. I cried I felt so bad! He was angry but not with me - with his head for looking stupid. As he is 6 foot there aren't many people who will look down on the top of his head and admire the crop circles but nobody told him he looked young that week! More like a thug! ooooooopppps love and kisses, Jan
