HELP!!! NEED INFOMATION ON SEWING CLASSES IN NC Hi my name is Shireen and I am looking for some informaion about sewing classes in NC or if you guys know of a general place I can look in the community for free sewing classes. I want to learn how so sew so badly!!! |

The only way I know to get free lessons .. Buy a machine from a reputable dealer and most of them give free lessons. (at least they teach you how to use the machine they sell you) The cheapest way that I know otherwise, is to check the Central Piedmont Community College Catalog for sewing lessons. The extension courses listings usually have them listed in the fall sessions.. I have known lots of people who took those lessons and they are top notch.. Especially for the price...No matter what section of town you live in, there should be a class near you.. Good Luck..Send me a PM if you have any more ???'s..

Check out your local sewing guild -- they offer classes each month. Go to your local fine fabric store (like for quilt fabrics) and they always have fliers for the local guilds and meetings. Linda |
