I am posting this with the hopes someone can help this lady. Please respond if you can, thanks.

I just bought a chenille bedspread and plan on making a jacket from the fabric. I would like to know how to insert (incorporate) an applique from the bedspread onto the jacket. I s there a way that you can cut a section from the jacket and replace it with an applique? If so, do you know how to do this?
Thanks in advance,
Margie
