Hi, I just found your site today. I've just started sewing again (learned and made quite a few projects as a teen), but it's been 15 years!

I was hoping that someone could give me advice on how to add some piping to the edge of the dust ruffle I'm making. I'll attempt to post a picture of the pattern that I'm using. Basically I just want to use one of my accent colors for the room around the edges of the dust ruffle.

Thanks in advance!
Stacy

Is your dust ruffle already hemmed or not?

I haven't even cut the pattern pieces yet, so no, it's not hemmed yet. Would it be more helpful if I could provide more detailed information about how the ruffle is put together?

Thanks again!

Is it a regular hem on the dust ruffle? It isn't faced or doubled is it?
