I had to put two of my ferrets to sleep today....they had cancer surgery earlier this year and we knew we were only buying time for one, but I had hopes the other one would be Ok....They'd been together all their lives and couldn't be apart....They were almost 7 yrs old....Scooter and Girl..they were sweet and cute... One of the vet techs said she was afraid of ferrets till she met my two, they were so sweet and always ready to greet any and everyone. They didn't bite and they loved to cuddle and play... Theres a big hole in my heart today.... Thanks for listening.... Chrys

My prayers are with you. some think of pets as posessions. but the rest of us know they are way more then that. They can be children and companions.
The more you disaprove, the more fun I am having!

So sorry. It's hard to put a pet down. It sounds like you gave them a very good life though. I've decided to live forever - so far, so good.

Sorry Chrys. DH and I had to have our sweet "Mercy Jane" put to sleep a couple of years ago and it was terrible. We both cried for months afterward. However, we now have our spoiled little brat Sophie. Patsy Patsy
