Yesterday when I was sewing my bottom thread (bobbin thread) was making loose seams & getting bunched. I tried adjusting the tension, but couldn't get it to fix. Does anyone know why this happens? |

Check your bobbin to be sure the thread is winding off in the right direction. Depending on your machine, some machines have the bobbin thread winding off the bobbin clockwise and some machines have the bobbin thread winding off counter clockwise and be sure your bobbin thread is firmly seated in the bobbin tension disc. Mine does it at times usually when I don't catch the fabric right away when starting a seam. All I have to do is take the bobbin out, put it back in and rethread the top thread. |

don't you just cringe when that happens. I sometimes find that the bobbin thread didn't wind properly, usually too loose and/or uneven. try another bobbin or wind another from the troublesome one. That works for me. |

Thank you everyone. I was wondering if it was just me. |
