Hi, all,
First, let me say thanks to all who contribute to this site-I have found a glorious wealth of information, and it's often like taken an online course for me!
Now my question-someone brought me a 100% poly stretch knit burnout fabric to make a mother of the bride dress with-problem is, the first fitting is scheduled soon but I've never used this fabric before. I want to make sure all goes well the first time-any advice you all may have would be greatly appreciated ASAP! Thanks again!!

Finish burning the fabric......

Just kidding. I sew it like it is a knit. I overlock all the edges and then straight stitch the seams with a slight zig zag usally .5 width and 2.5 length. with a good stretch needle and poly thread.
The more you disaprove, the more fun I am having!
