I have never seen one of those yet that was worth a darn. But, no, I do not have a HandyStitch.

They're only a toy, and not a very good one at that. Get one of these for your child if you want her to forevermore try to avoid sewing machines. Bill Holman |

My SIL just gave me one to try to see if I could get it to work for her - garbage. Don't bother. I'd rather sew by hand then use one of those things.
I've decided to live forever - so far, so good.

| I have one and it was a waste of money to me. I have had it now for 5 months and used it maybe once, but that was only to try it out. It's not at all handy and it should be called the "difficult-stitch." Maybe someone else knows how to use it better than I do and could help me, but for now I'll just stick with my sewing machine!!! |

I just tried my Handy stitch tonight for the first time: what a disappointment! did anybody ever managed to stitch with this? I would welcome any tips since I couldn't achieve anything tonight and I don't have a sewing machine... thank you! |
