I'm completely new to sewing machines. I just "inheirited" my grandmothers (which she couldn't figure out how to use because of the instructions), so I'm hoping I'll have better luck... I can do basic hand-stitches and I've made a few themed stuffed-dolls for friends. Needless to say, I will be buggering you fine people whenever something goes awry in my sewing exploits.

Thanks!
Remember kids, Kendo sticks are a great bludgening implement for psuedo-civil disobedience wanks. (Ghandi would have wanted it that way.)

Err, methinks it's a Brother LS-1217 model. That's what the box says, heh.

Oh, and yay to me, I was able to thread the machine and do some basic stitches (dances)

Hi Aiden and welcome!!!

I have the Brother LS-1217. It's my very first sewing machine and I've had it for about 3+ years now. I did't know how to do anything but hand sew before getting my machine. I learned to use it by the manual and just playing around with it. I was wondering if you have the manual and what kind of questions you may have about it? I may be able to help you although I still consider myself a beginner:whacky:

Have a blessed day!

Hi Aiden, hope you have lots of fun! Isn't Ghandi spelt Gandhi? I thought the other was a DJ? I only know this because I have a daughter who likes to hit people with sticks...
