My daughter came home last night with a DVD... Down with Love. I had a quilt binding to sew by hand so I sat down to watch. It was a great movie for anyone who was a Doris Day, Rock Hudson fan. I have been since I was little. It starred Rene Zelleweger, Ian McGregor and the brother from Fraiser I . Tony Randall even made an appearance. It was very cute. Has anyone else seen anything good lately? Lori |

Actually 'The Day the Earth Stood Still' was on AMC last week or the week before...my ALL TIME favorite movie...I watch it once a year (or more....) 'Donovans Reef', 'Father Goose', 'Operation Petticoat', and 'The Bishops Wife' have all been on t.v. lately....I love them too.... I like oldies...mostly

I love Big Frock movies - Emma, Pride and Prejudice etc. The last film I saw was "Matrix Reloaded" not exactly a chick flick but Hubby was happy. Joan of Arc was really good, beautifully produced and shot and quite emotional. DD boyfriend (Basil the biter - he bit her when they were both 3 and the name stuck) is into sword fighting and she got really cross as he made disparaging remarks all the way through about their technique.

I have been watching Chicago. i love it. I wish I had seen it in the theaters. I love the 6 merry murderess tango. My hubby has been looking at me weird when i hum it. The more you disaprove, the more fun I am having!
