I am participating in a craft show that will benefit a local children's hospital, but I have no idea what to make.

This show is less than 3 weeks away and I am in desperate need of some quick and easy items to sew up out of fabric already on hand.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Melinda:nc:

I saw this along time ago and did it. I went to the local Good will and got some old coffee mugs. some might have ones that they dont have a whole set. I paid a quarter a piece for them.

any way I stuffed the mug with poly fil and then took a piece of fabric and using a hot glue gun glued the fabric in the opening over the poly fil and made pin holders. On some I found matching saucers and using apoxy secured them to the bottom of the mug. the ones with out saucers sold for $5-8 and the ones with sold for $12-15. the lower price is what I lowered to on the last day so I did not have to take them back home
The more you disaprove, the more fun I am having!

I LOVE the Mug Rugs! I made two for my desk and I use them everyday! This would be a good item, especially if you combine it with a mug...

Thank you all so very much for the wonderful ideas.

So many of them were ones I had not heard of before.

I couldn't think of anything creative.

Thank you,
Melinda

Wine bottle bags with little bunches of cheap plastic grapes either glued on or tied on with a pretty ribbon.
