Okay so this woman is selling an so2 simplicity sewing machine. It has eighteen stitches and retails for 150 or so.......
She had it listed for eighty plus shipping cost but noone bidl I told her I could pay her fifty and drive and pick it up like (30 minutes) from my house. She had it on ebay by the way.

I s this a good machine for beginners? Is this a good deal?

I don't know this specific model, but no machine that retails for $150 will be a good piece of equipment, and the person who bought it has likely already found this out. $50 is probably a fair price, but if you want to learn to sew and not spend all of your time being frustrated with your machine, you're going to have to invest a little more. If you want to stay "very low budget," you would be better off to get a very simple, older, reconditioned machine.

HI Bill. Thanks. Well I don't want to spend that much when I don't know how i am going to do on my sewing. If I keep it up, I will graduate to a better sewing machine. I don't know if it's worth it now that I view your advice to buy a cheap sewing machine, because if it will be hard to learn on then what's the point. Thanks I will consider what you are saying. Maybe I could look in my greensheet for something.
