I'm new to this site's forum, so I thought I'd contribute something. Since I don't have sewing advice, here's a cute little rhyme:

I need not your needles
They're needless to me
For kneading needles
Is needless, you see
But should my neat trousers
Should need to be knee'd,
I then would have need
For your needles, indeed!
