Things are expected to run as usual. Rude awakening time for someone. Moms need to learn how to be pampered All hell breaks loose We are expected to hang-in-there and buck up Are still expected to fix dinner, wash clothes and feed the dog Moms need to get smart real quick for survival Demand coffee, a book and 2 hours to ourselves every 3 hours Lock our door til well Send in help and send away more things to be done Demand paper plate useage for the next 4 days Expect the electric blanket to be turned low, the kleenex nearby Bubble bath prepared 2 times daily, with scented candles Order out dinner or better yet, take the kids out Take the kids away to a movie, fishing, to the library- for hours! Leave me alone, don't talk to me and get out of the house! Take the kids, unplug the phone, leave soup. Add to the list as you like. |

I have this problem that I never realise how sick I've been until I get better, then I think Rats - could have taken a day off but I'm better now. I need to recogise that earlier, or not get sick at all!

Aimee my dh tells me the same thing, except when I get to feeling better, there are more chores for me to do because while I'm sick, he's destroying the kitchen, the bathroom and anywhere else in the house he spends any time. Patsy Patsy

I'm with you DorothyL. I can't afford to get sick. The last time I got sick, which to me is a blessing, was about 3 years ago. But my husband did step in at the time and took care of me, but that was before all the children except one were here. Now with them, O my goodness |
