well it isn't actually leather but the tag says clean like leather... it's a black suade (however you spell it) and there is something on it. kinda grey looking, i thought someone here might be able to help me out on this one, i tried a stiff brush but, there is still a shadow?? anyone had success with cleaning at home? i'd like to try something before i have to take it to the dry cleaner and spend $30.00 to have a vest cleaned, and if i have to take it to the cleaners i have a skirt that matches, should i take both so they still match, will the vest loose some of the color when dry cleaned???

There is a little gadget available with an eraser on one side and a brush on the other that are meant for suede and it works pretty well, even on shoes that pick up lots of dirt and stains. I can't remember where I got mine, maybe a drug store or maybe a shoe repair place. I've also used a spray suede cleaner with pretty good results, also gotten at a shoe repair or maybe dry cleaner.
