Ok, folks. I've been looking everywhere for a walking foot that will work with my Elna TSP. I ordered one from an elna dealer but it won't work - the bobbin extractor is in the way.

I have all these great bulky fabrics to sew but no foot that will handle the bulk! My machine does not have adjustable presser foot pressure so I'm pretty sure I need a walking foot to work with bulky stuff.

Still searching but I could use your help! You guys always have great tips so I thought I'd ask.

Thank you!

The old time Elna expert is Ray White at:

Thank you Bill.

However, it was Ray White from whom I ordered that walking foot. He had some walking feet he had discontinued b/c the quality was so poor. He sold one to me with no guarantees but was pretty sure it would work. I wasn't too disappointed that it didn't work. Mr. White seemed to know his stuff and I was just happy to find someone specializing in make of machine.

I also ordered a snap on foot package from him that I am quite pleased with.

Perhaps someone knows another older elna specialist?

Thanks y'all!

Nancy's Notions offers different presser feet. Just let her know the type of machine you have. I've had good luck in ordering from her catalog as well as Clotilde. Before I bought my Pfaff, I had a Kenmore that had been discontinued but was able to get parts from these sources since Sears didn't carry the parts anymore. Hope it helps. Happy Stitching! On my older elna SU and on DD lotusI just taped the bobbin remover up out of the way while using the walking foot That seemed to work fine for me. Of course now I have a elna 6005 Love that needle up and down:bg:

I did actually contact elna and they said to push the bobbin extractor aside. That didn't work! I was quite disappointed that the manufacturer didn't have a better suggestion than that.

Taping it back is a good idea someone suggested. I'll have to try that. As for trying Nancy's Notions or Clotilde - that's a real forehead slapper. I just didn't think of them! Thanks for reminding me.
