Hello everyone.

I have to post this every once in a while to keep this site the way I would like it to be. Please read carefully and heed what is being said.

This site is for everyone with no exceptions. My aim is to educate and encourage everyone with their creative endeavours in sewing and quilting.

Posts on the forums are to help with advice, have a giggle or spread friendship and comfort to others.

I do not want to see posts refer to religion, sex or politics. What you do or say on another site is of no concern to me. What does concern me is when praying, sexual innuendoes or political remarks are made to the group on this site.

Religion is a very private thing and best kept off of these very public boards. If you would rather join a more religious oriented site, that is your choice. I would rather not have people email me because there is so much religion based conversation on the boards. That is not what this site is about.

Politics can be an extremely touchy subject at any time. Let's not bring it up on these boards. I have my views just like anyone else, but I am not going to take the chance of perhaps insulting someone or scaring off a potential advertiser because of political views.

Sex is taboo as well. There are other places to share your ideas on this subject.

I love controversy as much as the next person, but I think these subjects are best left off of the discussion forums. We are about sewing and quilting, learning new techniques and friendship.

I think you all know me well enough to know I am doing this for the good of the site, There is no other reason.

Please everyone, let's just follow these very few, simple rules. If anyone does have a problem with this, feel free to email me
<email address removed for privacy>

Thank you everyone for your co-operation in this matter. :bluesmile

I love these boards for the simple good advice and tips we share with each other, the way we inpire and educate each other and the support and encouragement we give one to another. I regard this as an inclusive community and if I have offended anyone at any time please forgive me. I think you are a fab bunch of people and we love Mary for looking after us all!

Yes Mary you are so right not to get into any of those subject. Like you said religion, politics and sex are everyones right to keep private. Looking back on some of my post I did say I would pray for this one or that one when they were in dispair and I didn't mean to offend anyone or push my religion on anyone else. That is my way of consoleing someone who is having a rough go of live at that perticular moment. Thanks for reminding us of those rules sometimes I get carried away in my own little world and need to be reminded to redirect. LOL A nice way to put it. LOL Hope everyone is doing okay. I am not having too good a week I just hope it gets better as the holiday winds down.
