I am posting this for someone who needs help quick.

Post here if you have an answer, thanks.

Hi,

I'm really in a pickle. I need to know what is the best, least ugly way to sew up a tear on clothing in a fairly visible spot? I need some advice quickly. Please help me.

If the tear is not too raggedy, you can try a light fusible interfacing behind the tear to hold the tear together.

If you have a piece of matching fabric, you can fuse a piece over the tear...you would have to experiment to see how visible it would be.
Take care,

If you can't disguise it, can you make it obvious.. ?? in other words, make an applique or some other sort of trim to hide it, and then put another somewhere else on the garment.. Sometimes that is so much easier to do.. I usually put the fusible underneath to hold it together first, just like someone said, regardless of how I end up fixing or disguising the tear..
