Hi everyone. I am posting this for someone who needs help. If you have some advice on fold over elastic, let's hear it. thanks.

Could you post some tips on applying FOE. For myself I want to apply it
to the leg and waist of underpants that are made of stretch material.
thanks!!!!

I use it also around legs and on fleece. You need to sew the length you need in a circle. Then you need to pin it one stretching it as needed. The use a stitch length of 3.0 or 2.5 and then stitch it on. removing the pins as you go.
The more you disaprove, the more fun I am having!

Measure your elastic needed for the project, pin the elastic where seams are ,then baste it to the project on the right side of garment fabric first step, this will break eventually but its ok,stretching as you go along.this will hold down the elastic .turn over to wrong side then sew down elastic with a normal stitch. Also easier if you do flat construction.:bg:
If at first you don't suceed, try-try again!
