I have been making jammies again. One grandson got some dinosaur waffle weave made up. It is so soft, just like butter. I made up New Look 6131 with the V neck. It's easier than buttons http://www.simplicity.com/s2c.htm for the little ones. I also made some lime green flannel ones, same pattern with great big Elmo happy faces on it. You will be able to see him coming in the dark. LOL. Next is a pr. of Simpson jammies, he's in his underwear with a can of beer. Fun prints for sure. MaryW

Homer Simpson is done. The flannel washed up really nice and thick too. I have enough left for a pair of sleep pants I think.

I am doing a basic pattern it is easy McCall's 3193 but it is not a PJ pattern it is a summer clothing wear. I am making the button down shirt with the tank top underneath and then the pants with ribbing around the ankels. This way they will (hopefullly) wear the shirt around the house and then they can take it off at bedtime. Where are you getting the Simpson fleece and flannel. I cant find it around here at our local stores??? I want some!!! The more you disaprove, the more fun I am having!

Aimee, it came from Wazoodle. She has very nice stuff, but good ole Homer is all gone! They still have the lime green Elmo flannel though. You can see Mattie coming a mile away in his jammies. LOL. MaryW

Speaking of jammies, did you all see where Joanns is having snuggle flannel on sale after Thanksgiving for 99 cents.

They have some really neat fabric. I made my son a pair of boxers out of Tazmanian Devil flannel and my daughter a pair out of The Cat in the Hat flannel. |

Sherri, did you get the waffle weave with dinosaurs. I got that one too. It is as soft as velvet when you wash it.

Jammies are all done and fit fine. In fact, they have all been thru the washer/dryer as well. That's it for me and jammies for a while, but I really like making them out of those cute prints. MaryW
