Anyone doing needlework for Christmas gifts? I have my crewel work which is working up nicely. I still have quite a ways to go but I hope to be able to finish up. It will go to my son's girlfriend if I can finish it in time. She appreciates that sort of thing.

Depends what type of 'needlework' you mean - I'm still Mad Sock Knitting Woman. Though I like to cross stitch Christmas cards - don't know if I'll get any done this year. Moebius scarf took longer than expected!

I'm knitting a scarf for my sister for Christmas. I'm using the yarn with the long hairs hanging off it. (Can't remember what it is called.) They look so nice when they're done and they're so easy to make. |

I just went and looked, it is called Boa. I'm going to get some of the eyelash kind whenever Walmart gets some more in. The woman at Walmart said the yarn sells out as quick as they get it. |
