Hello!

I am making a large pillow with knife edge corners and a rope trim betwen the two pieces of fabric. The trim is a rope with 5/8" tab running down the length of the rope. I am installing a zipper, as well. What should I do first, sew on te trim or install the zipper?

Any help would be really appreciated!

Thanks :)

Sewing through all those layers will be nearly impossible. How about a zipper in the middle of one side. You can only use one side of the pillow to show but it's much easier to sew and to open and close the zipper.

YOu can do it but I put the trim on first then the zipper. Also sometimes I forgo the zipper and then I make the back like an envelope.
The more you disaprove, the more fun I am having!
