Has any one made a T shirt with a cotton fabric for the sleaves. I dont think why it couldn't work if the arm hole is big enough. Has any one tried it. I am thinking about it tonight. I want the boys to have a T shirt for their PJs but I thought it would be cute if the sleaves where the same fabric as the flannel pants. The more you disaprove, the more fun I am having!

Hi Aimee, I haven't tried it, but it sounds like a great idea! Take care,

Just make sure the armhole is plenty big. With knit patterns they don't allow a lot of extra ease because they are taking it for granted you are using a knit.

Aimee, I would substitute a sleeve pattern from a pattern made for woven fabrics, that way it would be large enough.. Sew With Love

You probably already know this, but just in case... If you are going to use the sleeve from another pattern, be sure you also use the armscye from that other pattern. It's easily done. Just trace off the new armscye and use it as an overlay. Lala Chile Pepper from Texas
