Is Pashmina like cashmere? or is it a differnt kind of wool blend? Has anybody ever used it to make a baby blanket?

I am not sure, but I THINK my sister told me it is a blend or cashmere and some other kind of wool.. If you find it by the yard, it should be marked as to content.. Those scarves a lot of my friends got last Christmas sure felt great.. So soft and warm... :bg:

This is what I found.

The pashmina we see on the Web and in local stores is usually a 80/20, 70/30 or even a 50/50 blend of cashmere and silk respectively.

Luxurius product! seems like some real nice fabric.

I would hesitate to make a baby blanket out of anything with even a small amount of wool in it as a baby may be allergic to it.

Savani, you can make me a blanket out of it. :bg:

I should think it would be totally delicious.

Doubt I would make such an expensive item for a baby in cashmere, since theyre not washable and would shrink if water was near them lol.
