Did you see that nut feed an alligator with his 1 month old baby boy under his arm. The media compared him to the infamous Michael Jackson. They both need their heads examined.

While I am on the subject of the media and their latest topics, who really cares about Paris Hilton and how rich and spoiled she is?

Yes, I couldn't believe my eyes. Up until now I had some respect for the guy and what he has done for animal rights but that was way out of line. ....and it was his wife that passed the baby to him over a fence.. I read today that social services paid them a visit and they agreed it will not be repeated ..ever..or social services will be back!..and so they should.

Yes, Paris Hilton - who cares! Her ex who put their private life on the internet must be a creep too.

I have more important things to think about - like getting the last blocks made for the mystery quilt so it will be ready to put together the moment the instructions are posted.:bg:

I missed the one with the aligator. But I saw Brittney got married. They said she was drunk. LOL That's a shame that poor thing has all that money and is so bored with live as she is. LOL Give me a break. If you ask me she's a spoiled little Brat.

Monica we have another lady here from South Mississippi. Susan Little. She's from Diamond Head, MS. Good to have you with us.

Whoa... didn't know abt the B.Spears wedding. Has anybody ever tried googling the words 'Paris Hilton' ??? The first ten results don't have a single link leading to the the hotel...

Which reminds me of an article I read the the Washington Post a few days ago... After Paris's ex spilled the video to the media, everybody seemed so nonchalant, the author had made an observation,"... the only questions people ask after such embarassing revelations these days is...how did I look.." This is what is has sadly come to.

It's 70 degrees today in Northern VA. We turned on the cooling :)

79 here all day. I have the air on now. Suppose to get cold by Tuesday again. That's why we are all sick. One day the heaters on and the next day it's the air.

Sorry, Jan - talking in the old "farenheit"! It felt like 2 degrees
( was probably about 6) Yesterday I drove 250 miles to Liverpool and back and went through snow, fog and sunshine all in one day!! It could only happen in England......

Britney Spears got married and had it annulled faster than I can cook dinner. LOL.

The alligator man says he would do it again in a minute, just not in front of cameras. He treated that little baby boy like he was some sort of rag doll. I really don't like him much anymore.

I have one that beats it ALL!!!!! The Tuesday before New Years, the Mega Millions Lottery was up to $155 MILLION. THe winnig ticket was bought at a store just east of Cleveland, Ohio. The "winner" states that she "lost" the ticket when she dropped her purse outside the store. Well today another women finally came forward with the real ticket. Seems that she was contacting a Accountant and a Laywer before going public with the winning ticket. They have been able to prove that the ticket holder is more or less the real winner, due to some information that the Lottery Commission can verify. Well the first lady has now contacted a Lawyer of her own and is trying to get a stop order issued against the Mega Millions Lottery to not pay out the winngs she states are hers!!! To see the two women you know darn well that they are NOT in the same social circle. The ticket holder is very well spoken and the other looks like she just came in of the "street" if you get my drift!!!
Guess people will go to just about any lengths for the all mighty dollar.
The local news media tried to contact the "so-called" ticket holder and neither she or her Lawyer can be located at the time of the 6P.M. news. On the other hand, the actual ticket holder is out in fromt of the media and can answers all the questions they fire off to her and her husband without a hitch.
SOOOOOOOOOO who do you beleive??? I'll keep you posted as to the out come on this one.
It's 9 about zero at 9:50 P.M. and my hands are like ice cubes.

I saw that one on the national news this evening here in New Orleans. Yes the lady who claimed to be the winner, the one who had the ticket was on the news and she did look like she had it all together. I didnt' see the other lady. Besides her not having the ticket, how does she know she had the winning numbers? Did she pick her numbers. Maybe she was dreaming she bought the ticket or maybe she had too much New Years Punch!!!! LOL

The lady that does have the winning numbers has been playing them for two years and has been able to prove it to the Lottery Commission. She even played the same numbers the Friday before at the same store, which the lottery can go back onto the system and verify her story.
The "want-to -be" ticket owner has LONNNNNNNNNG criminal record that the local news media is now uncovering. She and her lawyer must really think that this scam will work.

People just kill me. How do they think they can get away with some of the stuff they pull. All I can say is I didn't come into this world with that much nerve and will leave with not that much nerve. Another words I'll die an honest person.

Well it was on the news tonight that the Mega Million Lottery is awarding the winning to the ticket holder. They varified that the ticket was bought at the time the woman stated and she has another receipt from the same Quik Mart for other purchases to back it up. They say that there are other factors also, but will not state what they are, that proves she is the rightful winner.

A lot of the store have surveillance camera in them. That's probably one reason too they know it's the right person.

just an academic question... what if the lottery ticket had been stolen???

Aren't lottery tickets like "almost cash"... who possess it get it..
(I mean what if I buy a lottery ticket and gift it to someone??)

Two things, first according to the news last night, who ever is in possesion of the lottery ticket is the winner!

Second, the lady who claims she lost the winning ticket confessed today that she lied!!!!! Not sure if she will go to jail but they said it was a possibility. Sad what some people will do for money.

The Lottery Commission states that "who ever" holds the ticket is the winner in their eyes.
Also the "wanta be winner" will be facing charges for filing a false police report and possibly other charges, and including attorney's fees.

Michael Jackson showed up LATE for his court date.

I guess the judge reprimanded him, then he had a party for his supporters. I would think he should keep this as quiet as possible.

The Scott Petersen case is being moved to San Mateo CA. They showed tourism officials cheering wildly when it was announced. Sick puppies!

Star prosecution witness Fanueil in M.S. case is going to testify tomorrow. He's I think a brokerage assistant who will prolly say that Bancovic knew that Waksal was going to sell his shares, and that Bancovic told Fanueil to relay the tip to Martha...

Micheal J. is so not in news (or maybe I am watching the wrong channel!!!)

Apparently, Vanity Fair did an 'expose' type article on Michael Jackson, but his lawyers can't respond to anything in it because they are under a gag order.

Anybody watch the Superbowl??? I'm not a football fan, and know little about the sport, but I actually enjoyed watching it. The halftime show was another story...pathetically boring(IMO), and definitely not family entertainment...but what else can one expect from MTV.

Oh, and the surprise appearance wasn't Janet's brother, Michael, after all! How stupid!
Take care,
Donna
