I have a Singer industrial machine on which I'm trying to use a ruffler attachment. Directions are minimal and they don't say much about ajustments. The fabric feeds through fine, but I can't get the rachet to move around the cam to make the pleats. Anyone have any suggestions? I'm sure it is just a "simple" adjustment. I'll feel like a loser for sure once I find out it is something simple.

Thanks in advance.

I think you need to put the fabric between the ruffler attachment for it to ruffle.theres a space under neath the foot part there,a black metal band insert fabric on top of that but between the upper part use a pin to guide it thru to give u a start.
Since i do not have an industrial machine, this is only my pleater foot attachement, but perhaps theyre all the same.:bg:
If at first you don't suceed, try-try again!

I've got the fabric threaded in the way the picture shows, but still no luck. I'll keep fidgeting though. Thanks.
