Ok, which films get you honking into your hankies? I have a real bad time with: Rainman Forest Gump Bodyguard Little Women Moulin Rouge Muppet Christmas Carol ( don't laugh, it's Michael Caine in the graveyard.. both me and hubby are absolute drips) Beauty and the Beast ( yeah, I know) My Beautiful Mind Shadowlands so... obviously for me the connection is loss of love. love and kisses, Jan

I have to agree with Lily, I think I am Sam, and Pay it Forward are my biggest tear jerkers., no matter how many times I watch. OH I just thought of one more, Men of Honor, the final scene with Cuba Gooding just tears me to pieces.....

I think no matter how many times I see this movie and don't laugh because I'm telling my age, is Splendor in the Grass with Natalie Wood and Warren Beatty. Oh it tears me up!!!!!! LOL I had my Brother in Law sobbing one night he and I stayed up watching it and he and I both were just a boohooing. When they start resiting the poem at the end is when it gets me. And another one is "The Way we Were" with Barbra and Robert Redford. "The Prince of Tides" at the end when he goes home to his wife. Boooooooohooooooooohooo. I'm okay now, when's the next show start. LOL I don't get to the movies too often and don't rent them either but when I do I make them count. Susie |

I'm gutted, there is a whole load of Noseblowers out there I have never heard of! The Bicentennial Man got to me as well - you can tell it's a goody when you drip through the third or fourth time. My daughter bawls to Ghost, though we had a Very Bad Time when she was younger with Dumbo ( the bit where his Mum is locked up) and DD2 could never watch tht bit, alays had to leave the room. love and kisses, Jan

A friend and I were talking about this at work today and we both thought of two movies neither of us can remember the names of. Someone please help me out here. It's driving me nuts. One movie was with Robin Williams. Both his children die and years later the wife goes to a mental institution and then commits suicide. Then he dies. The rest of the movie he is in heaven trying to save his wife from hell. Only she can't remember who he is. Sounds weird, but it was a good movie. The other movie takes place in the future. A couple have a young son that's in a coma. The man brings home a boy android/robot from work and gives to his wife. Then the son wakes up from the coma. They send the android away and he searches for the blue fairy......ring a bell anyone???? I know one of you can tell me the names of these movies. The other ladies at work thought we were making it up. |

Every year.. since 1982... i make sure that Christmas Eve is shared watching "It's a Beautiful Life" with my son, his love and my friends.. I CRY like a baby.. I mean I know what is going on.. and after 22 years.. I still bubble over with tears.. with a smile I might add, because everyone is looking at me like I am some kind of a NUT.... In most cases if it is a movie that I can relate to.. I am there with my tear drops.. "BEACHES" grabs me like a lampoon into the heart... I know that I will think of more.. I need to wipe some tears away.. Karen Karen

Old Yeller is still not even allowed in the house even though it has been 30 years since I saw it. Beaches made me sob out loud. It doesn't help that I saw it with a close friend just before moving far away. I still don't enjoy the song "Wind beneath my wings". The Green Mile is another one. DH cried when Spock died in Star Trek. Ghost got to both of us. |

I always cry during White Christmas. DGS 2 cried for the first 2 weeks that we had Nemo he was afraid Nemo would get lost again. I couldn't get him to not want to watch it & he cried everytime. I also cry at any movie where someone dies , has a baby, gets married, or falls in love. I always have tissues nearby when I watch movies. Barb Barb

When my daughter was 5 or 6, she was in the other room and we heard her suddenly start to sob. We ran to the room to find her wathcing Benji, the Hunted. We offered to turn it off, but she was so into the movie. She watched it whenever it came on, and she would sob every time. |

The first one does sound like what dreams may come. Is Cuba Gooding jr. in it? (Directed by Vincent Ward, I think) The second movie you mentioned is called Artifical Intelligenece. Started by Kubrick, completed by Speilberg. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
