Hi girls. It has been a few days since I was on. Sorry about that. I am now in Washington DC.

We spent a couple of days in Atlantic City. The hotel advertised internet access. What they didn't say is that it was $60.00 per hour.

Our hotel was right on the boardwalk. What an awesome place this must be in the summer. Most of the shops were closed for the season. I walked for hours and hours along the beach. Hubby beat a trail to the closest casino.

Then we moved on to Washington. We came in late last night. They also advertised internet access in our room. It doesn't work, so while they are repairing that, I am in their work center.

It is about 50 degrees here right now, but the cold blast is supposed to hit us this evening.

I will check in again once I get set up in the room.

Welcome to DC. Mary,W :)
It's such a shame that we greeted you not only with a cold blast, but a snow storm..:bluesad:

But then, the metro works, so getting around is not a problem. My parents are in town too ..for a couple of weeks(they live in Frankfurt), but they say its not that bad, particularly if you want to do Museums and indoor stuff..

Cheers!

Our room is beautiful and I think we are going to the Smithsonian today. From what people say, it will take days to see everything we want to see. :bg:

Mary you better get rid of that cold weather before you get to Louisiana. LOL It looks like it's following you everywhere you go. LOL We are in the high 60's and low 70's this week and the air conditioner is running here. Now watch by the time you get here it will be cold again.

Glad you are having a good time.
