I'm looking for an old fashion pin cushion pattern. The one where you use a doll head & arms & make an old fashion full skirt & bodice. These are like women dressed in the 1800's. I sure hope someone out there knows where I will find a pattern for this. Theresa

have you tried E-bay? I also tried going under "search" typed in hard to find sewing patterns, came up with lots of sites. you can also try Google.
Someone should have one or one close to it that you can doctor.

Good Luck

Thanks Sewhappie, I tried some sites a few months ago. Guess I should try again. I think I could wing most of it but I'd rather find a pattern. Trial & error can take time that I really don't have right now. Thanks for your help. Theresa

Have you looked in stores like Michaels, Ben Franklin, or Hobby Lobby. These hobby stores sell the little half dolls and a lot of times they have free patterns there telling you what to do with their supplies.. I collect all kinds of craft patterns from Michaels..
Oh yes, I think Joannes has this stuff also.. My city does not have a Joannes, so I'm not familiar with what they have..

Thanks for the info Libby. Here in Naples we have all the stores except Hobby Lobby. I have the half doll, just need the pattern. I've made angels from the half dolls but not sure how to fix the pin cushion under the old fashion dress. I went on the net last night & found a lot of nice stuff but not the one I am looking for. EBay has some for sale but not like the one I saw long ago & want. Guess I sound picky, huh ? I sure do thank all of you for trying to help me.Ya'll are sooo nice. Theresa

Hey Libby, I found it & on page 18. Boy, right under my nose right here in my sewing room. Now do I ever feel so silly & looking all over for this plus putting you girls to so much trouble. Please forgive me. Guess the brain goes on pause once in awhile. Please don't tell me it's an age problem. Thank you dear gal. Theresa

I would love one of those, I must search out an old copy.

Beachgirl, I will be in Naples on Friday. What is the weather like?

Mary, Welcome to Naples even though you aren't here yet. Our weather has been a little cool lately, in the 70's so bring a sweater along for early morns & evenings. Hope you have a wonderful time while here. Theresa

Mary --
It's bound to be warmer than New York when you were there. I was there that weekend and HOT DARN it was cold.
