Now I found out about it. They look like kindergarten scissors. Clotilde says they will go thru security at the airports. http://www.clotilde.com/cl/product_group.asp?g_id=251009&source=clotildenews MaryW

Mary, They do resemble kindergarten scissors. So I would be more likely to purchase some Fiskars for $1.99 that spend $20 for those. After all your not gonna be doing serious cutting on the airplane anyway. On a side note when we were returning from Germany I forgot that I had a pair of folding scissors on my keys. The lady at security was looking at them like what the heck is this. Lucky for me she didn't figure out that they unfolded or I would have been in big trouble. Gina

Gina, I don't sew or quilt on planes anyway. There just isn't the room. My SIL had a pr. of folding scissors that they took off of her. She had them in her purse for her knitting.
