I am working on my first plaid slacks. I have never worked with plaids, haven't sewn much at all. I have a new machine and I am utilizing the stitches and feet I have. I am using the walking foot right now with the plaids, this is also a little stretchy so I am using a stretch stitch. It is unraveling a bit at the seams and I am wondering if it is OK after I get the seam in to then change my foot to an overcast foot and then serge just inside the seam I am putting in now?
Thanks,
Jolene

The walking foot is great, I have never had a machine that had one and this is just wonderful. Thanks for the help.
