Many of you have heard about this free patterns website, www.quilterscache.com. They have many wonderful free (many of which are original) patterns with clear and colorful instructions. It is actually, imho, the best pattern website on the web. It's better than many quilt books that I have, and magazine that I get. Many quilters all over the world have been using this website for patterns for block swaps, and inspiration. The owners are having a financial difficulty keeping the site on, and might have to close down very soon. I'm sure many quilters will be sorry to see them go. Please go to the site and read the 'state of the quilter's cache union' on the home page. Maybe you can help. http://www.quilterscache.com/stateoftheunion.html Adva Price

For those of you who aren't familiar with www.QuiltersCache.com I will just tell you a little about it. They have hundreds and HUNDREDS of free quilt block patterns. Marcia, the owner, is friendly and helpful. She responds to requests almost immediately. There are many super complicated blocks that she has completely redesigned to make easier. Her instructions are crystal clear and best of all...THEY ARE ALL FREE!! Before you buy a quilt pattern book..check out her site. Donate a few dollars, or what you might otherwise have spent on a quilt book. I know I've saved a fortune by checking her site for ideas. Danelle in Tri-Cities Washington
