We have had threads about kids but I find what my hubby says sometimes even more humorous.

Like

Honey since you switched to the double rolls of TP they last twice as long...

As long as we have kids living at home you will not work I promise.

When he looks at me and asks " Why did (child's name) Flush the whole roll of TP ( or something like that)???

This is like magic... I wore these pants yesterday and they are in the drawer all clean to wear again....
The more you disaprove, the more fun I am having!

Try this one -- "Honey why do you always put my clothes in the closet and drawer where I can't find them?" Duh???

or -- why didn't you say something I would've done that for you." Why didn't he ask me if I needed him to do it instead of sitting there watching me do it -- right? As if ---???

How about, "hon, is this milk still good?"
Why am I the expert on this?

My favorite- "Hon, where are my boots?" (or belt, or hat, or socks etc. etc.)
me: "did you check the closet?"
him "Oh there it is"

Maybe that one is because the closet is never the place HE leaves them. :nervous:

Not my hubby, but here's one from my dad that he used to get my sisters and I with, and now is using on the grandkids. My mom still hears it too-

Grandad: "Would you like to have some popcorn?"
kid: "Sure"
Grandad: "Great, get me some while you're in the kitchen."

Adva,
Don't you just want to pinch them (I'm being nice) sometimes? :bluewink:

My hubby really put his foot in his mouth a few days ago. After my "normal" day, getting kids ready for school, working all day, coming home and doing laundry, cooking dinner, etc...... hubby comes home and finds out dinner is not quite ready so...... he decides to go visit our neighbors for while. I finish dinner and folding laundry and telling kids to do their homework.....
He is not home yet so the kids and I eat and then I fix him a plate, put it in the fridge, and clean up the kitchen. He comes home, microwaves his meal and sits in the recliner to eat in front of the TV.
DD and I had been waiting to watch American Idol. Just as it came on dh holds his empty plate out toward me. I looked at him with disgust and took the plate to the kitchen. Then as I sat back down he holds out his empty glass.

I asked him what he thinks I am. I said I've rushed around trying to get everything done so I can watch this TV show.
He said, " I wish I had ONLY the responsibilities that you do."
:bang:

Man is he sorry he said that now.:nervous:

*I* wish he had MY responsibilities for ONE WEEK.

I guess he thinks since he makes more money than I do that he has the main responsibilities in this family.:nc:
