Hi there,

I'd love to use ribbons for various projects, but I'm not sure what to do with the ends to stop them fraying, but keep them soft. Any suggestions welcome...

Fray Check or Fray Block...I've used both....Fray Check gets thick fast, so you have to use it up quickly...

(Fray Check is by Dritz and Fray Bond is by June Tailor)

If you cut them on the bias they won't fray, but will have a soft, slightly ravelled edge. Fray check will leave a completely crisp edge, but it will be stiff.

You can also use pinking shears to pink the edges,as extra measure run a narrow row of stitches before pinking.
If at first you don't suceed, try-try again!
