Well they, ( the weatherman), just informed us that we are being put on ANOTHER Winter Storm Watch for Thurdsay into Friday.
If we aren't being hit with Alberta Clippers, usually pretty mild ones, then it's a Texas Panhandler Hook, with these we can get dumped on!!! This time they say it's a "hook", so if you don't hear from me you know I'm buried in snow.
I guess parts of Tx and La are under Tornado watches with this storm too. I have a funny feeling that it is going to be a wet and WILD spring, if we ever get to one!!!!!

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow...:bg: :bg: :bg: :bg:

LOL Mary I wouldn't boast too loud. Aren't you coming to La on this trip? Well we have been from on extreme to another. Last week it was warm here in the 70's and more rain then I really want to talk about. Then it got cold, well cool for some of you in the 40's. Now they say it is going to rain again Monday and get warm again. This weather is horrible. I know you up in the north have lots more to complain about then I do but at least it's cold and stays cold. One day it cold the next day it's hot. Geesh, come on Mother Nature make up your mind maybe she's going through menopause too. She's having hot flashes!!!

All kidding aside, Mary I'm glad you are having good weather. Sounds like you are in the relax mode for sure.

Have fun!!!!! I'll be thinking about you.

Sewhappy we got the boomers last night and early this morning. Quite a lightning show. We were under flash flood watches but it didn't get too bad on my side of Lake Pontchatrain just lots of lightning. It was north of here that got the bad stuff. Hey Susan In Mississippi, was it bad on your side of the lake?

Ok Susie -- How is that a good thing??
Actually I can't complain. We're having a heat wave too. Temps hovering in the high 20s and low 30s -- resulting in freezing rain. My mother in law in Florida called last night to complain they had to turn the air condiditoner on.
A pox on all you warm southern belles!!

Now that's out of my system.

LOL The weather roller coaster causes everyone to get sick. One day it's hot and humid and the next it's 30F and the humidity is 30. Which is very unual for this far south. At least you can bunker down when it's cold. Here one day the A/C is on the next the heater is on. The Entergy company loves us. I'm all electric.

Sewhappy, I'm about 160 - 180 miles from Lafeyette. Nice Sunday ride for us. We are located southeast of New Orleans. Actually I'm only 3 miles the city limits of New Orleans and 8 mile from the French Quarters. My nephew lives in Lafayette, he's in college there.

Hugs Susie

It's rained cats and dogs here lately. We even got a few snow flurries today.
Hubby had a pond built about 3 months ago. I wasn't convinced it would ever fill up. He said it would. It just looked like a big mud hole to me.
Yesterday it was so full it was spilling over the dam.:nervous:
DH is thrilled. He keeps going out and looking at the pond and tracking mud into the house.

Bama,

People are telling us that if you want water to stay in your pond you need to get a sack of drilling mud and put it your pond. Tell you hubby to check that out. People up where we are going to move told us that's what they do up there and it won't affect the enviroment or fish. It's suppose to keep the pond from drying up once it's full.
