Almost everything. Once in while someone will give me something or my mother in law will give me a gift certificate but for the most part I make my own. I don't make underwear or nightgowns. I would but I don't have the time.

I make tops, slacks and jackets. I don't wear skirts or dresses much at all. Working from home makes you a little too casual. :bg:

you all impress the heck out of me!!! i guess i'm the minority here, i do make myself flannel pants that i wear all the time but as for clothing that i make... i have never worn any of it in public!!! i did make a long jacket last week that i will probably wear, it actually turned out very nice, but i have wasted soooo much fabric trying to get thing to fit and they never do, then i get to frustrated and quit. i've read all the fitting books and bought the computer programs to make you own patterns and still i just can't get anything to fit right... sad sad but, true

I mostly make t-shirts & blouses for summer. Most of the time I wear jeans & tees or sweatshirts. I did find a nice slacks pattern that I made for myself & plan on making more as soon as I can find my sewingroom again. Evertime I make a dress I can't get the fit right. I am smaller on top than the bottom & the adjustments are to complicated for me. I like instant gratification. I want to get things done fast & easy Too many steps & it gets to be a UFO.

Almost all of my clothing comes from my sewing room now that I've retired. I've been purging the working wardrobe that I once needed and replacing the items with clothes that I've sewn. I've made a few suits and dresses for church and have one or two special occasion outfits. However, I mainly sew slacks, shirts and jackets for casual wear. This past month I made 3 pair of fleece pants, a vest, a border print fleece top, a knit skirt with matching jacket, and a knit dress. I have a pair of black velour pants waiting to be hemmed and have two more fleece tops cut out waiting to be sewn. Also, I have a velour top waiting to be sewn. I had made my border print fleece top on my serger even setting in the sleeves. That was a first for me but then "Santa" gave me a new serger for Christmas so I had to try it out.
Happy Stitching!
