I found on a site named Janome.com 2 lovley purses one i am making right now,since it only gives a pic of one I printed it off,and decided to figure out how the assembley was done hehehe. I am onto the lining at present and think i have masterd the technique on how its assembled.The one i am talking about has a pull string part in the center,but the style of the bag is so nice I just couldn't resist having a go. LOL. If at first you don't suceed, try-try again!

Sorry the link didn't work, however if you find the site at ...... http://www.janome.com look under project then drop down menus named crafts an acessories it near the bottom named silk purses.Pictures of them show nicely too and one you can print off.Im not one for making purses but lately have been inspired.

I LOVE making purses....and good for you, for figuring it out! I like to do that too...if I can avoid buying a pattern, good. I'd like to see a pic when you're done! Allie "onward through the fog"

Hi Allie- I don't have a scanner to put a pic up here however there is a picture on the janome site as described above my last post. They are made from silk those ones.I did mine from scraps of fabric left over outside of purse is black shiny sorta like a crock skin,and then linning is made from a lovely green. The hardest part was putting in the little part that has a drawstring,for closure,but think i mastered that quite well lol. Since this is only a trail run I want to embellish the purse next one i make with some embriodery.
