My non-commercial sewing website shows examples of crafts, aprons, vests, etc. designed and made by me. I would like my visitors to share their thoughts and opinions, about my examples. To achieve this goal I placed a vote caster on my website. Unfortunately, the visitors of my site are not active in casting their votes. Do you have any suggestions on how I can get my visitors interested in answering a few short questions?

Here is a link to my non-commercial sewing website.

Hi Larysa, welcome to Sew Whats New.

Your husband did a fine job with your website and I love your projects. There is no reason not to go and vote on your pages, it is just that not many people have visited yet. Maybe the girls here will take a peek and vote for you.

I loved everything, but the butterfly vest and the Chinese vest were my favorites. You do beautiful work, the girls will be asking for your help in no time. LOL. :bluesmile

I went to your web site. Very creative projects. Can you tell me where to get directions for the plastic bag rug. I get sooo many plastic bags that I need something to do with them. Do you think this would be easy enopugh for 7 & 8th grade Girl Scouts to make?

Ditto on the plastic bag rug. What a neat idea! How do you join them together?

I'm glad you liked the idea of recycling grocery bags for making a rug. To be honest, this idea does not belong to me. I got it from one of my Russian friends. It took about 60 Wal-Mart bags to make a rug of the size you see on the picture on my web-site. I cut each bag into spiral strips about 2.5-3 inches in width. Then I just tied the ends of the strips with square knots and made one big roll like a ball of yarn. Then I crocheted with the 6.5 mm crochet hook. When I got through crocheting the rug some of the knots were on the front (face) side of the rug and I had to pull them through to the back side to have the finished look
