Toile fabric is all the rage lately. I saw an Easter bunny made from a red toile print. It was kinda cute. Any fans of toile have ideas on projects with this fabric?

I personally don't care for toile fabric...but I have seen something interesting made from the fabric...a prom dress....
Yep...the little girl across the street from me wanted something unique for her prom, so her mom's friend made her prom dress from brown/beige toile....it's different thats for sure...it's strapless, mid length, with a small flaired skirt...

I think it depends on how it is used. Definitely a Victorian look to it. My daughter made Christmas stockings from some and it was lovely.

I'm working on some Bonnet Girl Blocks that I am doing -- 7 on white with black stitching and 7 on black with white stitching. I' going to do a duvet cover with these blocks and black and white toile. My bed skirt will black and white small gingham. I haven't decided what the window treatment will be yet. I am going to trim the duvet cover with a burgungy and add burgundy throw pillows. Candace Olse did a gorgeous nursey with an antique white wrought iron bed, antique chest and white chest. The mother did not want the typical nursery as she wanted to incororate the antique bed and chest that had been willed to the baby girl (Georgia) by a great-aunt). The room was breathtaking.
