The Greatest Free show in the world. Susan that is scary being smashed together from sidewalk to sidewalk not being able to lift your arms and looking up and finding someone crouched down in the sitting position trying to show her rear end and not knowing if she is showing her stuff or trying to relieve herself, and if it's the latter she will do it on your head. LOL Been there done that, twice and never again.

But like you said Susan, that's the French Quarters, Bourbon Street. Go Uptown and it's more like 4th of July, people barbecueing picnicing with their families having a good time being lazy for the day. Watching all the sites go by, and you can see some sites.

The funniest thing I heard recently was they were going to arrest everyone who showed their top parts (b**bs) in public on Mardi Gras for beads. They say it was for public relations, it turned off people coming to Mardi Gras with the family in mind. The only place that usually happens is on Bourbon street anyway and most of the bars are topless there and if you pass the doors on that street the Bouncers open the door for you to get a peek. So how are they going to stop them. They'd have the jails full of topless women. And on some occasions bottomless men. LOL I know of one that did that for beads.

Laissez les bon temps roulez (Let the good times roll) French

Hugs Susie
