Hey Mary,
bearing in mind there are so many talented embroidery persons here, how about a design a "sew-what's-new" t-shirt. (maybe using the logo with that weird pincushion) I can't do this but we could always auction off the items for money for the site? or commision someone to make me one? nice embroidered logo? how about it people, is this possible?
love and kisses, Jan

It's for keeping your needles sharp. At least that is what my mother always told me. The sawdust in it will take gunk off of your needles.

Its not sawdust , itssome kind of metal shavings and it is to keep needles and pins sharp... When you have a pin or needle with a bad point, insert it in the strawberry part of the pincusion several times and then use it again.. You will be able to tell a real difference.. I have done this for years, but you have to more or less find an old sewing book that explains notions to beginners to find an explanation for it and how to use it..:whacky: :bg:
