I want so bad to see the Oscars. I hope I can stay awake. Which is best picture, who is best actor and actress? MaryW

I'm not watching them, sorry Mary. To tell you the truth I didn't know they came on tonight. I'm getting ready for my surgery. Getting last minute things done for the up coming week so I can loaf after surgery on Tuesday. If I find out tomorrow I'll let you know. Susie |

I know I'm in the minority but I won't be watching----I'd rather be sewing. Lise |

Can someone tell me who won what? I saw Rene Zellwegger receive one for something? Boy, am I old. It makes me so mad when I can't stay awake for something I really want to see.

Renee won for best supporting actress. Tim Robbins won for best supporting actor. Charlize Theron won for best actress and Sean Penn won for best actor. Lord of the Rings won all 11 awards it was nominated for. Peter Jackson won for best director. I stayed up and watched them all and I'm really tired today. They weren't over until about 1 a.m. |

Thanks so much. Charlize looked so nice, didn't you think. Not tacky or trendy, just elegant. I loved her. Sean Penn deserves his award, he is so intense. MaryW

Don't feel so bad Mary I'm old and my problem is getting up in the morning like a normal person. I stay up all night and don't want to get up until after 8:00 or 9:00 in the morning. Nocturnial. |

I started to watch it.. I enjoy the humour of Robin williams.. (he was quiet) and Crystal... Must have been that delay since the "ditty" of Janet flew out and hurt everyone's share of reward.. Karen Karen
