Ladies, I know you have seen the ads on the top of the pages. What do you think about them, are they offensive, boring, what? I want to hear from ALL of you, thanks. MaryW

Honestly Mary, I never noticed them until you asked. I realize the internet is funded by advertising and I've learned to tune it out as much as possible. I automatically get rid of popups without reading them, and simply ignore anything else. |

As long as it doesn't jump, run, flash or follow my cursor across the screen...it doesn't bother me and I can ignore it...

They must not be bothering me because I didn't notice them until you mentioned them just now. I hate those pop ups I click off of them I wouldn't buy anything from the pop ups because for the simple fact they annoy me. I know I'm a witch. So they can sue me. LOL Mary those ads are good ads. They all have sew in them. LOL I just noticed it. |

I agree with the flashy moving things. I don't mind regular adds and click on any that seem to interest me. But please do not get those flashy moving things as I cannot spend anytime at all on the sites that have them (I get terrible headaches from them). I am so sensitive that if I post too many times in one session gives me a headache.

Thanks everyone. I need the revenue but I don't want the page to look like a billboard.

I'm a "pop up" hater also. DH and I have cable at home and we've downloaded their free pop up blocker software. It works 99% of the time but every now and then your computer gets bombarded with so many at one time the software can't keep up and a couple will sneak by. I HATE POP UPS. The ones on top of the page are ok, in fact, I was drooling over the 2046 on the Pfaff UK sight. Pfaff here in the US does not sell internet. The lowest price I've seen on the 2046 here in OKC is $2,300. I guess I won't be trading up from my 2044 anytime soon. Patsy Patsy

I did notice the adds, and have even checked a few out. However, they don't bother me, and if they help keep this site active, please keep them! |

Ads are fine Mary, they are themed and therefore useful. When they start telling me You HAVE WONNNNN!!!!!! I will get weary. I wouldn't buy the stuff 'cos it doesn't seem to be in England.... (I miss the wierd pincushion with the chile thing...) love and kisses, Jan

Mary, I just had to add that they are kind of cool. I was shocked when I was looking at my post about the Grocery bag contest and the adds were for different types of bags. Wow! Talored advertising. Gina

Those type of adds don't bother me. Sometimes one will catch my eye and I'll click on it. I never click on pop-ups or flashy adds. They bother me. Mary, if it helps with the site, please keep them. |

The ads on the top don't bother me either. I just thought to myself, "Good for Mary. She found new advertisers"....it's worth it to keep this site going. Haven't checked any of them out yet but plan on doing so. Violet I've decided to live forever - so far, so good.
